DEADLINE: TUESDAY DECEMBER 3RD, 2019

Hello and thank you for your interest in submitting to the 2020 BC and Yukon Book Prizes. You are a publisher or an author with a book or books that are published in 2019 and that meet our criteria for entry.

The BC and Yukon Book Prizes award excellence in writing by writers from BC and Yukon across seven categories: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, regional writing, [switch the order] children’s literature, illustrated children’s literature, [not “children’s illustrated”] and a prize sponsored by booksellers.

In 2020 we are proud to announce that the Lieutentant Governor’s Award for Literary Excellence will be presented at the 2020 Gala.

These are very exciting times for writers and publishers in BC and Yukon!
