Great books deserve to be discovered. The BC and Yukon Book Prizes celebrate the writers, illustrators, publishers, and passionate readers of our province and territory — recognizing outstanding literary achievements and fostering a vibrant book community through our prizes and programs.
Joining as an individual supporter means you get closer to the books, the authors, and the moments that make our literary community worth celebrating. Your support funds the author visiting a school three hours from Vancouver, puts shortlisted books in libraries that couldn’t otherwise afford them, and pays for the Gala where a first-time novelist stands up in front of her peers and hears her name called.
