2021 Gala and Viewing Party
Join the 2021 BC and Yukon Book Prizes as we celebrate the finalists and winners of our annual prizes.
On Saturday, September 25th at 7pm we will be announcing the winners of the 2021 BC and Yukon Book Prizes. Our host and MC for the gala is Monique Gray Smith. The Gala will also include presentations from the BC and Yukon Book Prizes executive director Sharon Bradley, West Coast Book Prizes Society president Robert Bittner.
At the 2021 BC and Yukon Book Prizes Gala the Honourable Janet Austin, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, will present the 2021 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Literary Excellence and the Honourable Angélique Bernard, Commissioner of Yukon, will present the 2021 Borealis Prize: The Commissioner of Yukon Award for Literary Contribution.
The festivities will get started at 6:30 pm PST with a viewing celebration hosted by Rob Taylor.
